Inpatient rehabs are residential facilities where addictions are identified and treated by licensed qualified staff that specializes in drug rehabilitation.  People who abuse drugs become addicted for different reasons.  One particular reason is the physical dependency which the body becomes accustomed to and the other form of addiction is the mental addiction which is where the drug abuser believes that they need the drugs in order to function in their daily lives.
